This patch https://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=138876 from bug report comment https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160441#c16 works on squeeze. Now my encrypted laptop disk stats are nicely visible. Please consider applying to unstable and stable too.
