I recompiled libproxy 0.3.1-2 in my computer but the problem didn't
disappear, so the thing is probably not in the libproxy code itself
but in its dependencies (e.g. squeeze uses libmozjs2d whereas
testing/sid uses libmozjs6d).

It also FTBFS with a recent environment, btw:
