 Unless the Debian GNOME team feels otherwise, I wouldn't you taking
 over the human-icon-theme package; perhaps you could even maintain it
 where the other packages are kept?  This was originally taken from
 Ubuntu but I believe humanity-icon-theme supersedes it.

 Looking at your diff now:

 (FYI, there's a 0.36 version in Ubuntu since at least April 2010.)

 I think this is incorrect; index.theme.in has Inherits=Tangerine,gnome

 Maybe index.theme.in is incorrect, in which case you should patch it
 and indeed remove the Depends, but I don't think you should remove the
 Depends with the Inherits still pointing at the other theme(s).
