I think both bigon and I commented, so it is not true, that there was no
acknowledgement or communication.

sorry to hear that you are annoyed by this.
The simple fact is, that GNOME 3 means a lot of different (library) transitions
which need to be coordinated to avoid breakage as much as possible.

In your case, there was no unnecessary work.
We simply couldn't upload brasero in June. The alternative would have been to
remove goobox from testing temporarily which would of course have been the worse
alternative.

The GNOME team got the go for the GNOME 3 transition from the release team 2
days ago. So we couldn't give you an advance warning earlier.

Please keep in mind that we have 200+ packages + their reverse dependencies and
I'd guess we had around 20 transitions to this day.
