Can you point me to documentation on a Debian system of how to do that
for an home-made script (stored in $HOME/bin for example) ? It seems to
me that, with gnome2, this can be archive with the UI. It is not a
problem for me if gnome3 requires to manually modify/create text file
and/or run registering programs. But I cannot find how to do that.
If the documentation does not exists yet, please reopen the bug.
And if it exists, I think it is too much hidden (so this bug should
not have been closed).

   Regards,
     Vincent
