If this is an issue in gtk2, has this bug been forwarded to upstream?
Is there a bug report for it or can you file one for that and let us
know, please.
We currently have 2.4.26 in testing, do you imply that this is
regression between 2.4.26 and 2.4.27?
If so, could you run a git bisect to find the faulty commit.
Technically, it's possible to prevent gtk2 from migrating to testing by
filing a bug with RC severity. Would be good to know more about this
issue first before doing so, though.
