i can't verify that with your nautilus version, and i didn't spot any
major differences in the dependency list compared to my host. (i have
desktop-file-utils 0.20, everything else is just debian revisions.)

could you try it again, maybe with a fresh user to rule out
user-specific configuration issues?

fwiw, there's currently a discussion on that feature upstream at [1].
