Package: gnome-system-tools
Version: 3.0.0-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
The directory selection when adding a new share from shares-admin has a strange behaviour:
1. run shares-admin, click unlock, enter the password
2. click "Add" button. The "Shared folder" dialog appears.
3. For example, we want to share the /usr/share/icons directory. So we select Path: "other..." A directory chooser appears.
4. Click on "Filesystem" in the left pane.
5. Manually type /usr/share/icons/ (the path is typed in the path bar), press Enter.
6. Back to the "Shared folder" dialog, the "Path" field displays "icons" (Note that the share's "Name" field displays "Filesystem", change that to ic0nZ or whatever if you want)
7. Click "Share" button
8. Now we are sharing the whole root filesystem (instead of /usr/share/icons), as displayed in the shares list ( "/" ). Funny.
I hope this can be fixed
Thanks for your work and time !
