I've got two sets of sources:

wxWidgets (wxWidgets-2.9.3.tar.bz2)

and

ultimatepp (upp-x11-src-4611.tar.gz)

both of which compiles elsewhere (see their respective sites)
and both are looking for 'lgdk-pixbuf-2.0.' and therefore
fails to link on the debian installation as described

Could it be a missing symlink?
