Package: sound-juicer
Version: 2.32.0-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
Sound Juicer can retrieve track listings that are impossible for the CD
it's looking at. For example, with the re-release of CAN's Tago Mago
with a bonus live CD (disc IDs SmXL4f5V4NvTIQ6gcmnkAY4P8DU- and
PAjsiFGgheQLNdPwBAW2iJaC_k4- on MusicBrainz, link below), insertion of
either CD (seven tracks and three tracks respectively) can retrieve a
single *ten*-track listing comprising both track lists, concatenated.
This listing clearly isn't appropriate to either individually, unless
there's some way for it to be separated into two parts. It would seem
appropriate for Sound Juicer to sanity check the results from disc ID
queries and ignore those which just don't make sense. Certainly, being
presented with ten tracks for a three-track CD seems likely to result in
trouble.
