Bug#654952: gnome-terminal: Transparent background stopped working in a recent update in Wheezy/Testing

Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 3.2.1-2
Severity: normal

Clicking Edit=>Profile Preferences=>Background=>Transparent Background and
then sliding the slider to none makes the whole terminal black and on
maximum it becomes a white-ish gray. I am using Xfce 4.8.0.3.

If more information is needed, just ask.
