Well, it is working now a bit better, besides that during editing
the gnome shell goes into a bigCPU hog mode, and once actually
segfaulted on me:
[55410.530652] gnome-shell[3579]: segfault at 8 ip 00007fd02f5359ae sp 00007fff6ec1dc60 error 4 in libgnome-shell.so[7fd02f505000+9e000]

and in xsession-errors:
gnome-session[3449]: WARNING: Application 'gnome-shell.desktop' killed by signal

But I think you can close this bug.
