Hello,

I tested the 2.6.11-8 version, and this problem is still there.
The manual navigation is possible, but in the tree I'm having
it's a lot of clicking before I'm where I need to be. Especially
as I started gimp in the correct directory. (.)

Was bug 644244 the correct one to add this report to? That bug
is reported as solved, but the problem still remains (at least
for me)
