Bug#679037: gnome-shell: Suspend option suddenly disappeared from menu, replaced by power off — work again

For some reason it worked again by itself after I made some probably 
unrelated stuff.  Just in case, this stuff includes installing gdm3 and
indicator-session, creating a new user and log into his account, and 
rebooting several times.
