gconf-editor reproducibly crashes after clicking several times in both the navigation panel and the name/value configuration panel while trying to change keybindings within /apps/metacity/global_keybindings and /apps/metacity/keybinding_commands.

The crash is accompanied by appearance in stdout of the following error message:
GConf:ERROR:gconf-client.c:2369:gconf_client_lookup: assertion failed: (last_slash != NULL)
Aborted

This error has also been reported for gconf-editor 3.0.1-1 on the ubuntu platform (cf. ubuntu bug #912116).
