I can confirm that your patch (which is based on Tanguy Ortolo's patch)
does indeed fix the problem. I was able to successfully burn the test
case[0] which I submitted last year[1]. Thank you very much!

Tanguy Ortolo has forwarded[2] this bug and his patch on 2011-11-24 to
GNOME's bugzilla[3]. Unfortunately upstream has not yet responded.
