Bug#661486: Info received (gnome-shell: Crashes even with a single browser window.)

Excuse my sloppiness  but I can't remember where I read that this is a bug
that bites proprietary nvidia driver users. The workaroung suggested is:

echo "" > ~/.local/share/recently-used.xbel

And it has been working for me ever since.
