Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:3.2.2-3+b1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
This setting is changeable through the dconf editor, specifically in the
org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power schema with the lid-close-ac-action
and
lid-close-battery-action items. It's a very common setting for laptop users
to
change, many of whom might want the ability to close the laptop lid without
the
system doing anything, myself included. The default behaviour, on both AC
and
battery power, is to suspend to ram.
Current appearance of the Power settings dialog:

As you can see, it does have laptop-specific options, but not the one I'm
looking for.
IMHO, this is an item that should definitely be included in Debian 7.0.
Please let me know if you need any more information.
