Bug#674062: gnome-shell: Scrambled text until the mouse cursor is hovered over

Greetings. I am having the problem too. I am running wheezy on a macbook.
 I have been seeing these scrambles for a few weeks now, and would love to
have it fixed.
If I can be of assistance in providing configuration info please let me
know.
