Bug#693837: gnome-session: Bad position for the "warning, fallback mode" notification, and others

Hi,

default graphical install with d-i wheezy beta4 with CD#1 and no
network, Gnome starts up in fallback mode (vesa...), and one gets
the "warning, fallback mode" notification. That one is badly
positioned on the screen, and others apparently suffer from the
same issue.

I'm attaching two screenshots.
