I am pretty sure that this is a different problem, since GDM 3 in
Squeeze and Wheezy are too different.

Could you please submit a separate report to the Debian BTS, for example
with `reportbug gdm3`. When the startup fails it is important that we
get the file `/var/log/Xorg.0.log` from that failed start.
