The upstream ticket has been marked as a duplicate of upstream bug
684331 [2], which has also a patch attached, which will be in pygobject
from version 3.4.1 on forward.
I am still undecided about the severity. Although it is supposed to be
harmless, the error message printed to the terminal implies this is
critical.
So it would be awesome if the small patch could be applied to the Debian
packages and a freeze exception be made for Wheezy to not scare any
users.
