Bug#686945: gcalctool: provide text fallback if edit-clear-symbolic.svg & CO are missing

This is what gcalctool looks like before I manually installed
gnome-icon-theme-symbolic:

It would be nice if gcalctool could provide a fallback to use text
characters if the according svg files aren't present.

(I'm not sure whether gnome-icon-theme-symbolic should be a hard
dependency of gcalctool - which it isn't yet and therefore the 2
missing icons in screenshot above - but leaving that as maintainer's
decision.)
