Bug#687578: libgtk-3-0: Incorrect state propagation causes for example falsely grayed out items in Nautilus

Package: libgtk-3-0
Version: 3.4.2-3
Severity: important
Tags: upstream fixed-upstream

Control: affects -1 nautilus

Dear Debian folks,

using Nautilus 3.4.2-1+build1 some menu items like Copy, Cut, Paste are
grayed out, although they should not be, but they are still
selectable/clickable. According to jbicha in #debian-gnome on
irc.oftc.net this is also the case in Ubuntu.

Searching the Web leads to upstream bug 672046 [1] claiming this is a
problem in GTK+ and fixes have been pushed to the GTK+ repository [2].
Unfortunately no hashes for the commits have been given, but grepping
the commit message for the bug number 672046 reveals it should be commit
8ff08e7c [3], which seems to depend on other commits though.

It would be great if you could backport these patches. Maybe we are
lucky and the GTK+ developers will do it [4].

Thanks,

Paul
