When you want to open Thunar in Xfce 4.8 on Debian Wheezy takes a very 
long time. Then he opens Thunar and window with the message: "Did not 
receive a reply. Possible Causes include: the remote application did not 
send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the 
reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken . "Open 
Thunar takes more than 20 seconds. When the package gvfs-backends is not 
installed it is all good. Thunar opens quickly.

I installed  version 4.10 of Siduction xfce 
http://news.siduction.org/2012/10/xfce-4-10-for-siduction/ and here it 
all works fine. Thunar works well with the installed package gvfs-backends.
