Bug#704987: gnome-shell: scrolling in libreoffice-writer freezes system

Please supply the following logs.

~/.xsession-errors

/var/log/Xorg.0.log

My best guess is that this is not due to Gnome-Shell but the Intel
support. I already asked the maintainer to update the Intel Xorg drivers
for Wheezy months ago, but the freeze was there already and he
personally didn't see any instability......

Try this one from Experimental you most probably won't have any issues
after that:

Also try the Linux 3.5 kernel or newer. Then you will have a very stable
setup for a Sandy Bridge chip.
