I've been tracking GNOME's git tree and there are several commits
resolving the problem. Looking at the changesets there should be no
problem with the proposed tests, but we just need to double check.
GNOME once choose not allowing other input method to live, but it
anyway cannot ignore the mass pressure from input method users.
