Package: gnome-session-flashback
Version: 3.8.0-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
Since the upgrade from GNOME 3.6 to 3.8 my laptop's special-function /
multimedia keys (Fn+xxx) don't work anymore. This means I cannot use
them to suspend to RAM, adjust the screen brightness, change the volume,
mute the sound, etc.
Note that I can still use Fn+Page Up/Down to get the Home/End
equivalents. Also they still work to adjust the screen brightness in the
regular GNOME session (I did not test them all there). So this breakage
is really specific to GNOME Flashback.
A partial workaround is to use the Shutdown -> Suspend menu to suspend
the laptop, and the Volume control applet to adjust the sound volume. I
don't know of a workaround to adjust the screen brightness however.
