Package: gdm3
Version: 3.8.4-6
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
A lot of recent laptops don't have separate mouse buttons. Instead part of the trackpad
serves as the mouse buttons. On these it's much more natural to tap to click than to
actually go to the appropriate corner and press hard to effect a mouse click.
This trend is further reinforced by smartphones and tablets which train users to just tap
and not have 'mouse buttons' (And I hereby predict that in a few years a lot of the young
ones may not even know what a mouse button is).
Given all that it should be possible to tap to click in the gdm screen, by default.
