Bug#711500: how can non-expert user prevent these dialogues?

I am finding this dialogue pops up a few times an hour,
which is very irritating.

have been using wheezy for a few years, this only started relatively 
recently,
say a week or two at most.

it would be nice to have a how to that search engines could find...

ie what is the problem and how to resolve?
