Bug#699828: gnome-nettool: Ping not compatible with iputils-ping

Now that I check it again, I see that I get this error when the
address can be resolved, but the machine is not responding (it seems I
cannot ping google from my workstation).
Then, I guess this is a problem on the actual error mesage which
should be something like:
"www.google.com is not responding"

Of course, I get no error if I try with 127.0.0.1
