Bug#621783: cheese hangs on startup, then refuses to close via window manager controls

Dear Maintainer,

I have also had the same problem. I launched cheese through gnome-shell, and it
appeared as a blank window labeled cheese. The CPU % was reported as 100, and
it didn't close until I ran killall cheese. I will attach a screenshot. I am
using a laptop with an inbuilt webcam.
