Bug in nautilus, NFS or other package?

Even though you write it is not a problem, it really is a big problem for me and others that can't do theirs backups anymore.
What is your suggestion to solve the problem?
How can a script on an NFS share be started by mouse click so that the started script will generate it's output in that same directory that it is located in?
Dragging scripts to the desktop as you suggest is not possible because:
1. multiple scripts with the same name can not be dragged there
2. that would backup data to the user's machine desktop instead of where the data should go
