Looks like a duplicate of #697427, i.e. a crashing gnome-settings-daemon
process. So I'm reassigning and merging the bug.

Since I personally can not reproduce the problem, it would be great if
you can provide a backtrace [1] when gnome-settings-daemon crashes.
