Bug#715412: gdm3: suspend shortcut does not work with lock screen

Package: gdm3
Version: 3.4.1-8
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
I locked the screen, and then shortly after I wanted to put my laptop to sleep
(I do this quite often, for example when there is music playing that I would
like to stop, wanting to conserve battery etc.) I pressed the shortcut to
suspend/sleep and it did nothing. However, when I close the lid with a locked
screen, it did suspend, as it is supposed to when I close it.
The shortcut normally works, although id doesn't when there are menus.
What I would have expected is for it to always sleep when I entered the
shortcut - even when locked or with a menu. This is what it used to do. It
didn't used to lock the screen when there was a menu, but this was a known x
bug. It still suspended though.
