Package: gnome-calculator
Version: 3.8.2-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Seriously bug:

Running gnome-calculator and then:

  * Application -> Programming

  1. Selecting `Hexadecimal' mode

    * Typing `a' and press `return': Result is `A'

  2. Selecting `Decimal' mode

    * Typing `1' and press `return': Result is `1'

  3. Selecting `Hexadecimal' mode

    * Typing `a' and press `return': Result is `Malformed expression'

Sometimes there are also wrong results of calculations (couldn't
reconstruct it)! For this reason I decided to report this issue as
seriously.

Best Regards,
Dirk.
