Bug#716770: Can not select user in gdm3 to log into when you have many users

Package: gdm3
Version: 3.4.1-9
Followup-For: Bug #716770
Dear Maintainer,
I have more than one user (in fact I have 4). Most sessions are usually open and we often switch users without logging out.
When gdm3 is called from the "switch user" button of a lock screen, it is properly displayed.
But when I choose a user, and then either type a wrong password or simply cancel the selection, gdm3 is displayed again, but the layout is garbled: the users list and buttons have disappeared.
I can still interact using the keybord but it scares my wife and my children :-)
Maybe it is because I use testing and the gnome 3.8 transition is not over?
I do not dare to switch to sid because of the systemd dependency which scares *me* ;-)
Thanks,
Cyril Adrian
