Package: system-config-printer
Version: 1.4.1-3
Severity: important
Hi,
When trying to add a new printer I get the following backtrace:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/system-config-printer/newprinter.py", line 3587, in on_tvNPModels_cursor_changed
self.fillDriverList(self.NPMake, pmodel)
File "/usr/share/system-config-printer/newprinter.py", line 3539, in fillDriverList
iter = model.append ((driver + _(" (recommended)"),))
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 11: ordinal not in range(128)
This seems to be related to the French translation of "recommended" (using fr_BE.utf8 locales).
Changing the locales to "C" is preventing this backtrace
Cheers
