Bug#711411: gnome-screenshot: Taking a screenshot with PrintScreen key does not work

Package: gnome-screenshot
Version: 3.4.1-1
Severity: important
According to documentation [1] Gnome 3 saves screenshots in your Pictures
folder when you press PrintScreen key.
The problem is there is no Pictures folder in vanilla Debian and screenshots
are saved nowhere.
Creating any of "Pictures", "Images" or "Imágenes" (I'm on es_ES locale)
folder in my home directory did not workaround the issue.
As in other reports, I recorded a short screencast demonstrating it.
