Bug#711981: rhythmbox: Cannot transfer to empty USB device with .is_audio_player

Dear Maintainer,

Using Rhythmbox to populate a USB stick with mp3 files for playback in a car stereo:

I created .is_audio_player in the root of the USB filesystem with the following contents.

audio_folders=mp3/
folder_depth=2
output_formats=audio/mpeg
playlist_format=audio/x-mpegurl
playlist_path=playlists/%File

I created directories "mp3" and "playlists".

Rhythmbox recognizes this USB stick as a portable player, but it will not 
transfer files to the USB stick.

Workaround:

touch /media/usbstick/mp3/x

Restart Rhythmbox and now it will transfer files to the USB stick, and transcode
them to mp3 if necessary.  So this feature does not work if the audio_folder is
empty, but it will work if the audio_folder is not empty.
