Bug#712208: gnome-terminal: New tab is always opened in home directory (instead of working directory)

Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 3.8.3-1
Severity: important

Since I updated gnome-terminal some days ago it stopped opening new
terminal tabs the same working directory as I was before. All new tabs
are opened in my home directory.

This is a major issue for the usability of the terminal. For every new
tab you have to navigate all the directories to your working directory.
