even though the upstream bug report mentions that it was cherry-picked
to 3.4, it is not included in the 1:3.4.1-1 version of wheezy, but it is
finally included in the 1:3.8.0-2 version currently in testing.

mentioning that the "New upstream release (closes: 673054)" was probably
forgotten in the 1:3.8.0-1 changelog entry, so i suggest closing this
bug as it would have been had it been mentioned.
