Package: brasero
Version: 3.8.0-1
Severity: serious
Tags: lfs
Justification: unknoen
Dear Maintainer,
Brasero wrongly calculates file size for burning. At least it is in case of big
files (>4GB). I've tried to burn file of a size: 4508876000 B, which is ~4.2GB.
Unfortunately according to brasero it has size of 4.5GB. This results in
brasero not wanting to burn such file into standard dvd. This make brasero
unusable in such a case. I believe the bug is a result of simple error in
computing file size - division by 1000^3 instead of by 1024^3. I've check
another brasero instance, version 2.32.1 in FreeBSD, which calculates the same
file size as 4.2 GB and does not complain about files size preventing burning.
