Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:3.6.2-1
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
After installing Debian wheezy (RC1) I found that the touchpad on my DELL
Latitude E5500 dit not work properly: no way to 'enter' by tapping it.
After searching everywhere for the appropriate driver, or another solution,
I found that 'tap-to-click' was simply turned off in the control center.
I switched it on and everything was ok.
Why this can be turned off in the firts place is beyond me, but I strongly
suggest to set it 'on' by default to avoid a lot of frustration from laptop
users.
NB. this is not related to my 'experimental' packages. What I describe above
applies to the squeeze RC1 installation as well.
