Hi all,
There is a recent phenomenon, can anybody shed a light on this. Now
any external media gets mounted under /media/$USERNAME/ instead of
/media/ as before.
I use both GNOME (GNOME 3.6 + bits of GNOME 3.8 - actually 3.7.90
whatever comes out) and XFCE (4.10 with some bits still of 4.8) . Can
anybody tell/share why this has changed.
$ mount | grep /dev/sdb1
/dev/sdb1 on
/media/shirish/FreeAgent Drive type fuseblk
(rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_id=0,group_id=0,default_permissions,allow_other,blksize=4096)
This has happened over last couple of days.
Looking forward for some kind of answer.
