gnome-shell 3.7.92 unbuildable on amd64?

So, I managed to build it on my own computer, if that's interesting.  It 
works OK, except that I don't see any battery icon in the panel.

I manually installed gsettings-desktop-schema-dev and 
libclutter-1.0-dev.  I had to remove gjs0b and things that depend on it 
like gnome-sushi.  Then  "apt-get build-deb" worked.

I had to remove a number of (previously unnoticed) unpurged library 
config files.  Until I deleted these files, the gnome-shell deb ended up 
depending on a number of no-longer-installed versions, like libgjs0b, 
libmutter0a, gnome-shell-common (=3.6.2-2).  But after I removed the 
config files, it was fine.
