$ ssh-add

Error reading response length from authentication socket.
Could not add identity: /home/user/.ssh/id_ecdsa

All keys generated using default values for size, ecdsa key
generated with

$ ssh-keygen -t ecdsa

and accepting defaults values at the prompts for file locations.
