Package: gvfs-backends
Version: 1.16.3-1+b1
Followup-For: Bug #715436
Dear Maintainer,
please forgive me for this second message, but I want to add some details I just found.
The external device (iphone 5 in this case) is mounted correctly by gvfs:
$ gvfs-mount -li
Mount(2): Documenti su iPhone -> afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6:3/
Type: GDaemonMount
default_location=afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6:3/
themed icons: [phone-apple-iphone] [phone-apple] [phone]
symbolic themed icons: [phone-apple-iphone-symbolic] [phone-apple-iphone] [phone-apple] [phone]
can_unmount=1
can_eject=0
is_shadowed=1
Mount(3): iPhone -> afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6/
Type: GDaemonMount
default_location=afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6/
themed icons: [phone-apple-iphone] [phone-apple] [phone]
symbolic themed icons: [phone-apple-iphone-symbolic] [phone-apple-iphone] [phone-apple] [phone]
x_content_types: x-content/audio-player x-content/image-dcf
can_unmount=1
can_eject=0
is_shadowed=1
If I list a directory it works:
$ gvfs-ls afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6/DCIM/101APPLE/
IMG_0001.JPG
IMG_0002.JPG
IMG_0003.JPG
IMG_0004.JPG
.....ecc
But it doesn't work for a file:
$ gvfs-ls afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6/DCIM/100APPLE/IMG_0003.JPG
Error: Errore non gestito per Apple File Control (4)
But, above all, copy doesn't work:
$ gvfs-copy afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6/DCIM/100APPLE/IMG_0003.JPG .
Errore nel copiare il file afc://c8577d1c06bba9a44056f35865929d1da22b14e6/DCIM/100APPLE/IMG_0003.JPG: Operazione non supportata dal backend
Hope this is useful for resolve the bug.
