Package: totem
Version: 3.8.2-3
Severity: wishlist
Please enable the vegas browser plugin.
I would suggest to build it on a new binary package, for example: totem-mozilla-vegas,
and register the plugin as a flash alternative with update-alternatives like the
packages browser-plugin-gnash and browser-plugin-lightspark does, so the user can
choose easily which flash browser plug-in use.
$ sudo update-alternatives --config flash-mozilla.so
There are 3 choices for the alternative flash-mozilla.so (providing /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flash-mozilla.so).
Selection Path Priority Status
------------------------------------------------------------
* 0 /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so 50 auto mode
1 /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so 50 manual mode
2 /usr/lib/gnash/libgnashplugin.so 10 manual mode
3 /usr/lib/lightspark/liblightsparkplugin.so 0 manual mode
Press enter to keep the current choice[*], or type selection number:
Thanks!
