Bug#662813: [system-config-printer] applet does not appear in system tray

Hi.

I installed a fresh Wheezy with Xfce and I have pretty much the same
symptoms.

-----------------------

Starting from console:

$ /usr/bin/system-config-printer-applet --debug
checking for jobs

...then even if nothing is sent to the printer:

Starting job applet
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.fedoraproject.Config.Printing was not provided by any .service files

...and there is no sign of the applet in system tray. But job is
printed.

-----------------------

I'm using version 1.3.7-4 (current stable).

I believe the issue should be fixed in this version :

system-config-printer (1.3.7-4) unstable; urgency=low

  * debian/control.in: Add missing Depends against python-dbus
    (Closes: #627810)   <-- I think you meant 662813

I didn't try the package from testing : too many missing dependencies.

Could it be a different issue with the same symptoms ?

What should I check ?

Thanks.
